Alpha courses

Big questions. People today want to ask big questions. But they are not looking to the church for answers. ‘What Alpha offers, and what is attracting thousands of people, is permission, rare in secular culture, to discuss the big questions - life and death and their meaning’, said the Guardian.

Alpha is a chance to meet people, enjoy good food, to ask the big questions of life, without strings. Each evening runs like this:

A delicious 2-course meal followed by coffee or tea

A talk on some aspect of Christianity

An ‘anything-goes’ question-and-answer session - no question too awkward or too hostile.
