The Christ Church Centre

The Christ Church Centre will enable the Parish Church in Warley to provide a new meeting place for the community during the week.

Our hope is that the Centre will be a place where those who wish to step aside from the pressures of everyday life can find peace, companionship and refreshment. Existing groups such as Carers and Toddlers, Guides, Brownies, Boys Brigade. Mothers Union, Chattabox and the Monthly Lunch Club will be starting up again in the new improved facilities. to support local families.

Morning coffee and light snacks will be available Monday to Friday, from 10 to 12. We look forward to welcoming people who have often walked or driven past the Church, and would like to see if there is something here which might be stimulating, challenging or interesting. We hope that the Centre will soon become a place where people in Warley can meet up together.

The Church and Centre will be open each day and if anyone wishes to find some personal peace and quiet, or to talk over something which is on their mind, people will be there to listen and, if they wish, to pray for them. Appointments can also be made in the Parish Office with the clergy to discuss matters such as weddings, funerals and baptisms.

In St John’s Gospel we read that Jesus Christ said “I am the way, the truth and the life.” At Christ Church we seek to know Christ and to make him known. It is our privilege to testify to his love and care for us in every aspect of our lives. We look forward to serving the community of Warley on His behalf in fresh ways through the Christ Church Centre.
